With many thanks to William Tully of Logical Emotions for tagging me with this meme, I present to you TEN of my earlier posts which in some way define what the Freakedout Fathers site is both about and for. In short, it’s about the pleasure and the pain of being a Dad, and it’s for Dad’s who need a laugh and occasionally some upskilling.
Here are the ten posts that hopefully spell that out:
- In the Beginning - my first post which set the stage for both my own parenthood and many of the emotions, highs, lows and conundrums us Dads face.
- A Day in the Life - more insight into the wonderful world of Me and Mine…
- Suffering in Silence - the darker side of life for many men.
- The Office of Dad in the Media.
- The Wisdom of Solomon - when a ”clever” idea proves to be NOT reusable
- Ten Ways to Freak Out as a Father - how to make life harder than it already is in 10 easy lessons
- Even Dads Need to Defrag - do yourself a favour.
- Noise -it’s what kids do best.
- Be Cool: Don’t Be Cool
- I Breed Scapegoats - learn from the Master - the Master of Getting it Wrong!
Now here comes the Meme.
Now it’s my turn to tag the following 5 wonderful bloggers out there:
- Bad Dad
- Eric @ DDM
- Jonathan Pippenger (please tell me I spelt your name right!)
- Rebel Dad
- Karen Wallace
You must play by these Meme Rules (according to our author William):
- Please try to limit your post to 10 items or less
- Tag 5 of your friends or blogrollers
- Take your time. Do some digging in the archives and find the perfect ones - it’s to your advantage more than anything else. Just think: if you were to pull out no more than 10 existing posts from your blog which hit the high points of your blog SO FAR, (with the specific intent that your blog will be DEFINED by these posts) and put all your future writings into better context, which posts would they be?
- Please if possible, link to this post for meme info, and please link to the post that you were tagged in. Memes go on for quite a long time and when trying to follow one backwards to see some of the other posts, it gets quite difficult when only the blog URL is used.. Just a request.
- The people you tag, please let them know by email, contact form or some other efficient method.
Thanks again, William!
