We’ve talked before about Dads who suffer depression after the birth of the bubs, but let’s be balanced here: it’s mothers who suffer more often… althought PNP in the mum is still going to make life unpleasant for the dad. All round, it’s not a good thing, eh?
Melbourne Dwellers who care, there’s a terrific The Walk for Postnatal Depression this coming weekend. In their own words the event
is an annual, organised walk, aimed at raising awareness of Postnatal Depression.
I know one of the organisers and highly recommend what she has planned; ie., it won’t just be meaningful, it will be fun! There’s also a fundraiser dinner in the evening.
