It’s a classic, and WAY slanted in favour of one team.

Why can’t we have cool shows like this made in Australia instead of wasting precious funds on trash like “The Nation with Mick Molloy”?

Ok, man, let’s do it! You write the proposal to Network 10 (it’s more their thing) and I’ll get working on cutting shapes out of the styrofoam moldings.

Reminds me of It’s A Knockout. Why can’t they bring It’s A Knockout back?

  4. themolk on June 27th, 2007 9:09 am

Markk – they did – it’s called “Big Brother Friday Night Live”.

Whatever it’s called, it’s not good. Not a patch on Japanese TV shows at any rate…

You guys have nooooooooo idea what its like to have a dodgy pelvic floor!

    That is hilarious!

I’ve just worked out what I’m doing for my next birthday – its way better than the pyjama party with jumping castle I had (yes, me!)

Pete, can we do this? Please???????? Can we? Can we? Can we? Can we? Can we? Can we? etc …

Love how the wall justs busts in half when it hits Gigantor.

This sure beats Super Sloppy Double Dare.

  8. Pete on June 28th, 2007 5:29 pm

Pelvic floor reference, Mad Cow; are you telling us that you …?

… never mind. “Can we do this, etc??” What are you like at organising huge events for the wierd audience niche we seem to be part of here?

Bad Dad – (gigantor reference: way cool!) – that moment is my fave too. But what the hell’s Super Sloppy flopppry whatever??? We don’t have that here in Oz.

What am I like at organising huge events for the weird audience niche …?

    How much time you got?

And when do you want me to start?

    ROFLMAO (and squeeeeeeeze) PAHAHAHAHA

If we get the rights for this, how much could we make?

    I reckon there’s at least – ooo – maybe, 20 0r 30 DOLLARS in this! ;)

This show seems to be bad for the environment. Look at all the Styrofoam waste they generate.

@Pete: Sorry, I keep thinking U.S.-centric in my cultural references. I didn’t get exposed to much else growing up, except some BBC programming and Paul Hogan. (Loved “The Paul Hogan Show,” especially the “Hawaii 5-0″ skits.)

“Double Dare” was a show for kids on U.S. Network, Nickelodon, where contestants would get buckets of colored goo dumped on them if they answered a question wrong or failed to complete a task.

“Super Sloppy Double Dare” was, well, more messy.

Basically, it was where game show hosts go to die.

“Basically, it was where game show hosts go to die.” That’s funny. No wait, that’s sad.

You had the Paul Hogan show?! That is so cool. He was very funny – right up to everything that came after the first Dundee movie. He lost the spark after that.

    Just had a thought???

Can we organise it as an entertainment day for us parents, with the kids in the game?

Or will those pesky family association type people stop us having a bit of fun ….?

    pahahahahahahahaha

There once an “Americanized” version of It’s A Knockout!” called “Almost Anything Goes!”.
    Fortunately, it went.
    It suh-hucked!
