New Dad Tips, the final chapter

February 7th, 2008 · No Comments

Well, the last of this short series anyway. I had some notes on helping kids sleep. We didn’t need them with the firstborn, and the ones I had didn’t work with the second. :)

Today’s search came up with the following links which contains broader and more comprehensive info which seems better than what I had at that time in our kids’ lives:

The Baby Whisperers (Australian article about a “new” service to help new parents with  sleep matters)

Top tips to help your baby (and you!) sleep better (I liked this one particularly because it’s pretty much just 15 bullet points, nice and easy and quick to read)

31 WAYS TO GET YOUR BABY TO GO TO SLEEP AND STAY ASLEEP EASIER (While this sounds like a monumental work to read through, a even overdone, I liked the fact that it gave a range or matrix of tactics to think and work through. I’m always suspiscious of a one-size fits all approach to baby-wrangling, so this has some scope and gives you options.)

Or more personal help, you may want to contact Baby Sleep Training. They’re in the USA, but it seems like their services are via email, phone and fairly cheap products. And, no, I’m not being paid by them, I’m not endorsing them, I haven’t used them … stumbling across them simply made me realise how much help is out there when the sleep issue is a big problem. Why not explore it?

Hoping this helps. May you sleep well tonight!
