From age 2 to about 6, Youngest Son often suffered terrible nightmares as well as what’s become known as Night Terrors. Night Terrors are basically, according to my understanding, episodes of extreme fear and anxiety with no apparent cause and they happen, strangely enough :), in the middle of the night.
If your little one is suffering this (and you’re suffering too, by default!), I came across this terrific and practical post about it, which I recommend to you:
How To Handle The Midnight Terrors

Nice resource, I hope I don’t have to deal with this ever. But, its nice knowing where to go for some ideas if I need them.

Thanks for sharing this very useful resource. If ever one of my family or friends, I’ll recommend this to them.

Looks good Pete, thanks. We’ve had to deal with Luke going thru this as well.

Yeah, it’s “fun”, isn’t it Mich? And it happens at that time of the day where we’re least energised to deal with it.

By the way, thanks for visiting Andrew, I’ll be visiting your blog shortly.
And Jonothan, what’s happened to your blog, bro?

When I taught in Detroit, I had quite a bit of spare time and wrote at work. When I switched jobs I actually had things to do. I tried writing at home, but I have to get up at 4:30 in the morning to do it. When family member keep you awake until 11:30 or so at night, the extra sleep you gain by not blogging starts to become a luxury. So, I’ve basically set writing blogs to the side.

Perfectly understandable. I just liked the way/things you wrote. Sometimes I think blogging is for a season. I barely post at my business website anymore. You gotta have both the time and the inclination.
Very glad you’re still in the “community”…
