Well, as we recover from our near brush with fame, and I get on with the mundanity of running a training course during the day and helping kids with homework at night, and I try to scratch some time out of the week to be a writer, I only have the energy to make this offering of funny pics today.

My thoughts on”Please don’t pee by this door” sign.
1. This happens enough to warrant a sign, so I’m guessing it’s not far from a pub.
2. No one is going to get away with peeing by the door unless its dark.
3. Given that the (pee-ee/ pee-er?) is probably drunk and in the dark, what is the likelihood that the sign will be read?
4. If the drunken passerby does read the sign, isn’t more likely to entice them to pee there? If they weren’t thinking about peeing, they certainly are now.
5. Seems like the sign is an exercise in futility, unless the real purpose of the sign is to lure people into peeing by the door. Maybe, the police have staged a trap of some sort behind the door.
I agree with #5. That’d be a great stakeout to be part of, huh?
Jonathan, you put WAY too much thought into that!
I don’t know if it was WAY too much thought. I like to think of it as a concern for the poor chap that lives there and has people peeing on his door step so often that he has to ask people to refrain from doing so.
Were it me, I’d look into putting a metal plate with a low volt current running through it at the spot where these people are doing all their peeing.
Then when they wake up from their shock, I’d ask them to kindly clean up their mess.
Nasty. But understandable.

Yeah, I resisted saying above (but I won’t now) that the perpetrators of the urination were only giving in to pee pressure.
