Cool video! Now I don’t feel so stupid for all of the funny faces, noises, and actions I have made in public!
Being a Dad is cool because you can get away with this stuff!

Totally, Jared. I have these moments of “maturity” when I decide ‘no, other people might see me acting stupid’ … but then I shake myself out of them and spend 30 minutes crammed into a makeshift bunker in my son’s bedroom, protecting the entrance as he develops his clone army in the cupboard.
You sound like a great dad, Jared. And isn’t it fun to go Xmas shopping???

It’s funny, I remember how much I wanted to be “grown-up” as a child and how cool it would be once I was . Now, the coolest thing in the world is to be a kid. Thank God our kids allow us to do so without being judged too harshly by the rest of society.

Although I once was told off for having a Peter Pan Complex (as in “You need to grow up”) and even though the (older) guy tried to explain what he meant, I still don’t get it.

This video is greatness. Here is a list of a few things I enjoy doing with my kids that would not be considered grown up.
- Blowing Bubbles
- Flying a kite
- Singing Silly Songs
- Slot Car Racing
- Building Lego Castles
Pete - thanks for posting this video, it is a simple reminder that fueling your child imagination provides the memories that will be talked about forever at holiday gatherings.

Tyson, I couldn’t live without those silly songs. In fact, I feel one coming on right now…
Thanks for dropping by!
