O sleep! O gentle sleep!
Nature’s soft nurse, how have I frighted thee,
That thou no more wilt weigh my eyelids down
If you’re the father of a young one, you’ll know the feeling that Shakespeare so eloquently describes. I remember wondering if I’d ever get a good night’s shut eye again. (In fact, I think I’m averaging one good night’s sleep a year now, so that’s an improvement).
The reason I bring this up is because of some great info
Also on the site is great article on Toward Independent Sleep.
Here’s hopin’ you get some tonight. Sleep.

Such an eloquent way to talk of insomnia. Usually my nights sound more like:
“Bleepin, Bleepin, Bleeeeep! I can’t bleeping sleep, again! Bleep, Bleep it!”
(Insert your favorite profanity at the bleeps)
My sons does help contribute to the sleepless nights, the advice here is sound. Getting rid of the stresses of work before retiring for the night also help.
I like that Jonathan, I used to lie in bed and stress out or plot revenge for hours before eventually falling into a shallow sleep. Not a good lifestyle.
In fact I can blame little of my own sleep deprivation on my boys.
